GARNETT — The Missouri Highway Patrol said murder suspect Robert Blurton, 45, Garnett, is fighting extradition to Missouri. He is being held on a $3 million bond in the Allen County Jail, Iola, in connection with a triple murder in central Missouri. A extradition hearing will have to be held in a Kansas court before he is returned to Missouri. Blurton was arrested by a special team of Garnett and area officers Saturday morning at his home in Garnett. Blurton’s relatives, Donnie and Sharon Leutjen and Taron Leutjen were killed June 9 at their home in Cole Camp, Mo.
