OTTAWA — The Franklin County Historical Society invites you to an old-fashioned Fourth at the Dietrich Cabin at City Park beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. Events will be similar to a July 4 celebration during Territorial Kansas days, said Deb Barker, executive director of the Franklin County Historical Society. Activities include the reading of the Declaration of Independence, old-fashioned games and historical-style food, she said.
