GARNETT — An extradition hearing for Robbie Blurton, 45, Garnett has been tentatively scheduled for Aug. 13 in Anderson County District Court. That date could change depending on when the county gets a warrant for Blurton from Missouri’s governor, Anderson County Attorney Jerry Hathaway said. Missouri has 90 days to request that Blurton be extradited, Hathaway said. Blurton is being held on $3 million bond in the Allen County jail in connection with the murder of three of his relatives in central Missouri. At the request of Missouri lawmen, a special team of Garnett and area officers arrested Blurton at his home in Garnett early Saturday morning. Garnett Police Chief John Leinweber said Blurton surrendered without incident.
