COLONY — A Colony teenager was taken to Anderson County Hospital in Garnett after the vehicle she was riding in struck a cow on U.S. 169 Sunday night. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Stacy Rhea, Colony, was driving south on U.S. 169 near 2000 Road but wasn’t able to avoid the cow on the highway. 16-year-old passenger Addison rhea was taken to the hospital. Stacy Rhea wasn’t injured.
