OTTAWA — Officials of the U.S. Census want to talk government and business officials and to the public at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ottawa City Hall. The presentation is designed to discuss strategy to get more people to take part in the 2010 Census, said City Commissioner Sara Humm. The city said the Census Bureau may offer funds to area agencies to get people to take part in the Census. Because federal funds are based on population, cities and counties want their residents to be counted by the Census.
