OTTAWA — The Ottawa Babe Ruth League is looking for host families for the Babe Ruth 13-year-olds state Tournament of Champions beginning July 30. Eight baseball teams from around the state will compete. Under Babe Ruth rules, all visiting players must stay with host families. The Ottawa Babe Ruth League is short of families to house guest baseball players. To be a host family, you will be asked to provide a comfortable place to sleep, three meals per day, laundering of uniforms and transportation to and from tournament events, and cheer them on during games.
