SABETHA — The Ottawa AA American Legion came from behind in Sunday’s state championship tournament to win the title. Ottawa pitcher Jake Moore said his team wasn’t fazed by falling behind 5-1 to Pratt early in the game and got back into the game. Despite what he called a lackluster performance in the zone tournament, Ottawa’s Blake Firestone hit 8 for 11 and three homeruns during the state tournament. Ottawa is still undefeated at 43-0. They’ll advance to the regional tournament in Millbank, S.D., on Thursday.
