OTTAWA — Many students will go back to school this and next week. Franklin County Extension agent Rebecca McFarland said parents can help get their students off to a good start at school. Parents can get involved in school activities, meet teachers and join school-related organizations, she said. Parents should also make their homes welcome their children’s friends.
