LANE — A 44-year-old Greeley woman was taken by helicopter to Overland Park Regional Medical center as a result of a two-vehicle accident on the county line southwest of Lane. Carol Poage is listed in stable condition. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said Poage was northbound on Tennessee Road when she collided Monday morning with Jeffrey Parks, 40, Richmond. Parks was driving east on Allen Road. The sheriff’s department said there was a stop sign on Tennessee Road on the Franklin County side but not on Tennessee Road on the Anderson County side. There are no stop signs on Allen Road. The department says Parks refused an ambulance.
