WAVERLY — A Quenemo teenager was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa, as a result of a one-vehicle accident north of Waverly Saturday afternoon. 16-year-old Jeremy Turner was treated and released. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Turner was driving a pickup north on Berryton Road when his tires dropped off the roadway. He yanked the truck back onto the road but it dropped into the ditch on the other side. Troopers said he corrected but the truck crashed into the ditch on the other side of the road.
