OSAWATOMIE — Repair work on John Brown Road west of Osawatomie is under way.
This year’s work includes chip-and-seal work in which a coating of heavy road oil is poured over small gravel to reinforce the pavement. Miami County has received a state grant to rebuild the road’s intersection with Pressonville Road. That project will be done next year and will include moving the intersection and lowering part of the road by six feet.
