OTTAWA — Franklin County roads took a bath because of this summer’s severe rain storms. During the county commission meeting Monday, county administrator Lisa Johnson and county public works director Jim Haag and commissioner sue farrell note that the county took a hit because of the storms. Not only did the storm damage many roads, the county won’t be reimbursed for $350,000 in road repairs because there wasn’t enough damage to meet federal disaster levels, he said.
