OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission accepted the low bid of nearly $153,000 from Killough Construction Monday to repair a few streets in the city. City manager Richard Nienstedt said that because of the economy, the city scaled back what it planned to do. Killough’s bid came in lower than expected ensuring that the city will be able to do everything it planned for this year. Repairs will be done on Lincoln between Seventh and 15th will be repaired, as will the 200 block of Cedar Street and overlaying streets in Highland Cemetery.
