OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission will issue proclamations honoring young Ottawa-area baseball players at 7 tonight at city hall. Commissioners will honor the Ottawa 10-year-old Cal Ripken All-stars, the 12-year-old Cal Ripken All-stars, the 14-year-old Babe Ruth All-stars and the American Legion AA team. All of the teams won state championships this summer.
