LAWRENCE — KU Medical Center vice chancellor Marcia Nielsen will talk about the “The Top 10 Myths About Health Care Reform” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dole Institute in Lawrence. Nielsen said it’s time to take on some of the health care claims that have been paraded as fact during the health care debate. Before returning to the KU Medical Center in July, Nielsen was executive director of the Kansas Health Policy Authority, the state’s principal health care agency and which is responsible for a strategy for good health care and good public health. Her talk is free and open to the public.
