OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission will discuss a new community Christmas event at their work session at 4 today at city hall. The Chamber of Commerce wants to close Main Street between Second and Fourth streets and to close part of Third Street for the annual Christmas parade and a new Victorian Christmas event on Dec. 5. The commissioners will also receive an update on the Ottawa Municipal Airport, which was severely damaged by the July windstorm.
