POMONA — Dollar General is building a new store in Pomona. The company broke ground on the new store last week. The new store will be on the west edge of the city along K-68. The national low-price retailer has 150 stores in Kansas, including two in Ottawa. The company says a trade area must have a population of at least 4,500 before it builds a store.
