OTTAWA — Two medical officials went bicycling for bucks Friday. Dr. Scott Solcher and Stan Langhofer, of the Kansas Dialysis Services, rode from Topeka to Lawrence and to Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa to raise money for the center’s patient assistance funds. RMH’s Brenda Pfitzenmaier said their trip was a success. They raised $20,000 and were even ahead of schedule because they were assisted by the wind, she said. Kansas Dialysis Services has a unit in Ottawa.
