OTTAWA — The Franklin County Transfer Station will replace its truck scale. Solid waste director Rick Sawin said the scale has severely rusted and is no longer dependable. Many of the electronic parts are obsolete and are no longer available, he said. He said he’ll seek bids for a new above-ground scale to avoid future water problems.
