OTTAWA — The Ottawa Planning Commission discussed limits on pay-day loan and title-loan offices in the city during their meeting Wednesday. In some cases, the city has had some problems, especially with title-loan offices parking cars in lots in violation of city zoning rules. City planning and codes director Wynndee Lee said there are various options the city could look at. Planners told Lee they’re most interested in setting up business licenses for pay-day loan offices. Lee said she’ll do some research. The planners continued their discussion of pay-day loans until next month.
