OSAWATOMIE — The Osawatomie City Council is looking at readjusting the city’s four council ward boundaries. The Osawatomie Journal reported that the council is looking at population shifts caused by the 2007 flood and by the city’s annexation of some homes near Osawatomie State Hospital. The ward boundaries would be adjusted so about the same number of voters live in each ward. A question for the council is whether the boundaries should be changed by the city or by the Miami County Clerk.
