GARNETT — The fall harvest in Anderson County looks like it will be a good one this year. Anderson County ag Extension agent Shannon Blocker said most farmers have switched from corn to soybeans. The harvest had been delayed because fields were wet until this weekend. Blocker told the Anderson County Review she’s heard that soybean and corn yields are about double the average yields. She said the corn and soybean harvests are both about 60 to 70 percent done.
