CARBONDALE — A 24-year-old Quenemo man was taken to a Topeka hospital as a result of a two-vehicle crash in northern Osage County Monday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Kyle Daily, 26, Topeka, was driving south on U.S. 75 when his truck crossed the median and hit Dustin Rose’s car head-on just south of the Shawnee County line. Rose was taken to Stormont-Vail Medical Center. His condition wasn’t immediately available. Daily wasn’t injured. Troopers said both drivers were wearing safety restraints.
