OTTAWA — Like they did last year, the students at the Ottawa Middle School have marked Veterans Day today. Principal Carmen Schaffer, said that they’ll watch a film and hear a variety of speakers who are veterans. Students will recognize their family members who are veterans, she said. Classes will end with the playing of “Taps” as students leave in silence.
