BALDWIN–What could have been a tragedy ended on a relatively happy note when a 15 year old Baldwin High School student brought a .45 caliber semiautomatic pistol to school. Police say he brought the gun because he planned on having a knife fight after school. Police also found a knife on a 14 year old boy. The older boy was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Lawrence. Both boys have been suspended from school.
