OTTAWA — Ottawa University’s Kent Kessenger has been named the American Football Coaches Association’s NAIA Midwest Regional Coach of the Year. Kessenger’s Braves went undefeated during the regular season and reached the NAIA playoff quarterfinals for the first time ever. Kessenger will be honored at an AFCA dinner Jan. 12 in Orlando, Fla.
