GARNETT–The National Guard Armory in Garnett has become a victim of the ongoing Kansas budget crisis. During a news conference Friday, Major General Todd Bunting announced 18 armories are closing…and unfortunately for Garnett, it’s facility was on the list. Bunting says additional armories could close unless the budget situation improves.
