WELLSVILLE — Four people received injuries in a one-car crash west of Wellsville Wednesday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Suzanne Neel, 24, Wellsville, was driving north on Utah Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at the Shawnee Road intersection. Her car crossed Shawnee Road and went into a ditch. Neel and six-year-old Lanette Neel were taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Three-year-old Nadine Neel and one-year-old Harold Heel received minor injuries and were examined by Franklin County EMS staff but weren’t taken to the hospital. Troopers said the children were properly put in child restraints.
