OTTAWA — The Ottawa Volunteer Center is collecting new or slightly used formal dresses and accessories. Lisa Rivers, volunteer center coordinator, said they’ll be given to young ladies in Franklin County who may not otherwise be able to afford them. Rivers said she’ll take dresses of all colors and sizes. If you want to donate dresses or if you know a teen who needs a prom gown, call Rivers at the ECKAN Volunteer Center at 242-7450, extension 205, or e-mail lrivers@eckan.org.
