OTTAWA — What are you going to do when the winter storm hits? Why not try standing out in the middle of the storm ringing a bell? Adam Lynch said he still needs volunteer bell-ringers at Wal-Mart and Country Mart to finish out the Salvation Army’s campaign, especially this afternoon. He says Christmas Eve is traditionally one of the best days for Red-Kettle contributions. Shoppers tend to be more generous when volunteers are willing to stand out in the cold air, he said.
