OTTAWA – Franklin County Sheriff Craig Davis said at least 70 vehicles slid off snow-packed highways and roads in the county since Thursday when a powerful blizzard bashed the area with heavy snow and high winds. Most of those occurred Thursday, he said. At least a dozen accidents, including six injury accidents occurred during the storm. Many deputies also checked on elderly residents during the blizzard, he said.
