OSAWATOMIE — Many fees charged by the city of Osawatomie will go up with the new year. Fee increases include building permits, which will up by three cents per square foot – a normal increase each year; residential trash rates from $15.04 per month to $15.48; mowing charges from $150 per hour to $200; and rental for the city auditorium from $125 per day to $150. Utility charges won’t change. City officials said they tried to limit the fee increases for next year.
