TOPEKA–Social Services and Public Education could see futher budget cuts as the Kansas Legislature starts their 2010 session on Monday. State Senator Derrick Schmidt says futher cuts and possible new taxes have to be considered because the state budget is still over $300,000,000 in the red after 5 rounds of budget cuts.
