KANSAS CITY–If you want to get a close look at the U.S. Navy, mark the week of April 24 through May 2 on your calendar. Kansas City will host a Navy Week Celebration during that week. This gives area residents an opportunity to meet some of the navy’s sailors and learn abut the navy’s critical mission and its broad-ranging capabilities. Also featured are the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team…it will perform May 1 and 2.
