OTTAWA — An early Sunday morning fire caused nearly $20,000 in damage to a house in the 800 block of North Cedar Street. Assistant Ottawa fire chief Richard Oglesby said the fire originated in a wall furnace and damaged the wall and ceiling and caused extensive smoke damage. The fire appears to be electrical in origin, he said.
