OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie has been named Tree City for the fifth straight year.
Osawatomie PRIDE president Tammy Booe told the Osawatomie Journal that volunteers spent 860 hours to plant 106 trees last year. She says most of the trees were planted on Seventh Street to serve as a buffer to the railroad.
