WICHITA — Two counter motions could delay the start of the trial of the man accused of killing abortion doctor George Tiller. ABC Radio reports that defense attorneys for Scott Roeder said they want to review the business records, including professional calendars, appointment books and a record of scheduled procedures from Tiller’s Women’s Health Services Clinic. Tiller’s family is fighting it and filed a counter motion late Monday afternoon. Family attorney Lee Thompson questioned the relevance of the records in the murder trial. Roeder has publicly admitted to killing Tiller in May as he stood in the lobby of his Wichita church.
