OTTAWA — The city commission has set a public hearing for Feb. 3 on a property tax break for Hasty Awards’ new plant in the Davis Road Industrial Park. A study shows that the city and other taxing entities will get a good deal from the 10-yeare tax abatement, said city finance director Scott Bird. Hasty employs 75 people.
