(Wellsville, KS) — Franklin County officials estimate that 20 to 40 vehicles were involved in a crash that closed I-35 near Wellsville this morning. One person died in the crash just after 7 a.m. Authorities say the victim was an unrestrained juvenile. Several injuries are also reported at the scene. Emergency crews hope to have I-35 reopened by 11 this morning.
