GARNETT — One 46-year-old Garnett man was injured shortly after midnight early Sunday morning in a two-car car crash six miles north of Garnett. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Richard Gamberel, 58, Richmond was driving south on U.S. 59 when his car was rear-ended by a car driven by Timothy Fagg, 46, Garnett. Fagg wasn’t wearing safety restraints and was taken to Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, the Highway Patrol said. Gamberel was wearing a safety restraint and wasn’t injured. Two passengers in Fagg’s car weren’t injured, troopers said.
