OTTAWA — The recent run of blizzards and wild weather has slowed the construction project at Ransom Memorial Hospital by two weeks. However, hospital CEO Larry Felix said the $9 million project is getting back on track: The utilities basement is being completed, and crews will be drilling piers for the rest of the new expansion over the next few weeks, he said. The hospital is being expanded to include a new surgical suite and an obstetrics unit and the patient rooms are being upgraded and remodeled.
