OSAWATOMIE — The Osawatomie City Council has given the contract for Streetscape downtown to Orr Construction Management of Raytown, Mo. Orr submitted the low bid of about $498,000. The work could include repaving and use of brick pavers in some parts of the project. The Osawatomie Journal reports that the work could begin in late June and work will be scheduled so that Main Street won’t be completely closed during construction.
