WICHITA — Prosecutors are expected to wrap up their murder case this afternoon against Scott Roeder, the man charged with killing abortion doctor George Tiller at his Wichita church in May. Because Roeder has publicly confessed to killing tiller, the prosecution’s case has been relatively short. The Wichita Eagle reported testimony that Roeder bought a pistol from a Lawrence pawnshop and practiced with it before the murder. A Wichita detective testified that Roeder pressed the gun against Tiller’s forehead and pulled the trigger.
