OTTAWA — The Franklin County Commission approved a contract Wednesday with Sprint to provide wireless internet to sheriff’s patrol cars. The contract is part of an effort to tie together county, Ottawa and Wellsville police cars in a centralized computer data base. The system will give officers more timely information and allow them to file reports from the field rather than come into the station.
