BURLINGTON–Not many people want to go fishing for alligators…but that’s what happened recently in Coffey County. A fisherman recently found a 5 foot long dead alligator in the Coffey County lake near Burlington…..the lake supplies water for the nearby Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant. Wildlife officials say they have no clue how the reptile got there.
