GARNETT — A 30-year-old New York woman was injured in a winter-related accident Friday afternoon north of Garnett. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Saif Hasson, 23, Irving, Texas, was driving north on U.S. 59 three miles north of Garnett during a winter storm. Troopers said his Jeep slid off the road, went into the ditch and turned over. His passenger, Stephanie Webb, Cato, N.Y., was taken to Anderson County Hospital, Garnett. He wasn’t injured.
