OTTAWA — The Ottawa man convicted of accidentally killing a 19-year-old Ottawa woman last July will get five years in prison. Mark Sherman was convicted in December by a Franklin County jury of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Sky Cadorette at his birthday party at his house. Sherman was sentenced Monday to 52 months for her death and another eight months for illegally possessing a firearm.
