LINN VALLEY LAKES — The Linn Valley Lakes fire chief was killed when a fire truck backed into him Tuesday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol said 69-year-old Stanley Giles was killed when a fire truck driven by Brian Hall was backing into a bay at the Linn Valley Lakes fire station. Giles was trapped between the fire truck and a parked vehicle, troopers said.
