OTTAWA — The city has been getting refunds from the group that provides the city’s workman’s comp injury insurance. Commissioners got good reports from the Kansas Eastern Region Insurance Trust Monday. City manager Richard Nienstedt has made a determined effort to prevent injuries and workplace accidents and it’s paid off.
