TOPEKA — State Sen. Tom Holland of Baldwin City will announce that he’s a candidate for governor, The Topeka Capital-Journal is reporting. Holland, the former state representative for Ottawa, is expected to announce this afternoon in Topeka. Holland is a Democrat who would challenge Republican U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback for the governor’s chair.
